The whole FTU unit is fixed on the side door in the ring main unit enclosure cabinet body, for the purpose of bringing convenience to the FTU operation and maintenance conducted by the user. 24AH lead-acid battery with high quality and large capacity is set in the FTU unit, which can ensure the more than 20 times of breaking and making when the power supply for the system is interrupted.
For upgrading a manual switching mechanism to an electric one, only motor drive part, the related controller and a FTU unit are required to be installed on the manual switching mechanism. The FTU can be bought from any domestic manufacture.
Each unit of the TPS cabinet can provide 2 normally open auxiliary contacts for remote measurement and control of FTU.
